UNSUPERVISED ADULTING

Conceived by Draya Maria and Jarad Rowan

Directed and Choreographed by Drew Taylor

Devised and Performed by Draya Maria, Jarad Rowan, Andre Anderson and Jodie Robertson

Assistant Director: Ellie Stevens

Unsupervised Adulting is a physical comedy exploring the possibilities of mundane objects, the desolation of office temping and wondering when being an “adult” will eventually begin… Set in every dull office you’ve ever done a temporary contract in – we see four young employees wrestle with their daily tasks, dance through their sorrow to 90s bangers and find joy in an imagined life of a hungry stapler.

Conceived by Draya Miller and Jarad Rowan, developed during Performance Collective Stranraer’s Artistic Development Labs this new production combines clown, athletic physicality tight choreography and bursts with joy.
