Selgovae Theatre Company are delighted to present our production of The Lovely Bones. The principal cast is made up of Higher Drama students who set themselves the challenge of tackling this powerful and moving story. Many of these young performers have been with us since the very beginning of our junior company, Wee Mousie Drama School, and it is a joy to see them step into such ambitious roles.
Based on Alice Sebold’s acclaimed novel, The Lovely Bones follows Susie Salmon, a fourteen-year-old girl watching from the afterlife as her family and friends struggle to come to terms with her sudden death. With themes of love, loss, memory, and hope, this stage adaptation is both haunting and uplifting, offering a story that stays with its audience long after the curtain falls.
