The Traverse is delighted to be presenting the Dumfries & Galloway Class Act Showcase 2024!
With scripts having been written by young people across Dumfries & Galloway, they will now be brought to life by a team of professional theatre-makers including directors, actors and musicians.
Placing professional playwrights into each school to transform students into writers and storytellers, Class Act provides creative support and a safe space for participants, encouraging them to express themselves freely and imagine without inhibition. The results address what they feel passionate about, and each script crackles with unparalleled energy.
