Dark shadowy figures, reports of poltergeist activity and the legend of a bizarre double tragedy have weaved their way into a chilling ghost tour featuring Scotland’s oldest working theatre – the Theatre Royal in Dumfries
Mostly Ghostly Investigations, Dumfries and Galloway’s first paranormal team and creators of the Dumfries Ghost Walk, officially launched their Haunted Theatre Tour – on Saturday, 29th October 2011. Hosted within the walls of the Theatre Royal in Dumfries, the brave and curious can look forward to hearing wide ranging reports of ghostly activity as they are led around the hidden recesses of this historically important building.
After taking their seats in the atmospheric auditorium, guests will learn of some fascinating witness accounts connected with the stage area. From there, they will be given a guided tour of the Theatre’s most active locations, including the famously haunted basement, the Green Room.
The team have been delighted with the support they’ve received and look forward to revealing exciting ghost stories and incredible history to their guests at the newly-renovated Theatre Royal.
