Ever fancied being on the stage?

Chris Belford is directing our next The Guild of Players, Theatre Royal Dumfries production, A Spot of Murder and he's in a spot of bother and needs your help.

Chris writes: I need a male, preferably in his early 20s, to play the role of Pendlebury, an extremely keen young Police Officer. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established theatre group. You will be joining a fabulous cast and be treading the boards of Scotland's oldest working theatre.

We need someone with experience, who is dedicated and can commit to rehearsing four nights per week, 7pm - 9pm for five weeks, plus a further week 20th - 23rd February when the show will be on.

If you think this might be you or you know of someone, please either share or contact us directly. Chris will also consider changing the gender of the character if a suitable lady is interested, so please get in touch. Thank you!
