ABOUT THE GUILD OF PLAYERS
Nowadays the Guild puts on a season of three plays (each running for four nights) and a pantomime (running for a fortnight) every year. Every job, from directing the plays to serving the coffee in the intervals, is undertaken voluntarily by Guild members.
JUNIOR GUILD
Children's Theatre (P3 - P7)- Tuesday Nights - 6pm - 8pm This workshop focuses on developing drama skills in a fun and exciting way, through games, excercises and mini productions. Youth Theatre (S1 - S6) - Thursday Nights - 6pm - 8pm This workshop concentrates on develping drama skills in a wide variety of contexts, enabling a clear understanding on how to create or produce theatre. ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE Directing, acting, set-building, stage management, props and decor, wardrobe, hair styling, make-up and face painting team; sound and lighting, workshops, box office and front of house, building maintenance, publicity and public relations, administration, helping in the licensed bar and coffee bar.
